Roger B. Runde

Hazel Green, Wisconsin Roger B. Runde, 73, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Sunday, January 25, 2015, at home. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green with Rev. Kenneth Frisch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 3:45 p.m. Friends may also call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church before the service. Roger was born on March 18, 1941, in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, the son of Archie and Genevieve (Salwolke) Runde. Roger was a farmer through and through. He lived his entire life on the family farm. In recent years he raised beef cattle. Roger was a very spiritual person. Roger's best friend in life was his inseparable dog Rusty. Survivors include two sisters, Audrey (Jim) Alt, of DePere, Wisconsin, and Joyce (Larry) Molitor, of Cordova, Illinois; and two sisters-in-law, Carol Runde, of New Glarus, Wisconsin, and Mary Runde, of Cuba City, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Paul and Leonard; and a nephew, Larry Molitor Jr. A Roger B. Runde Memorial Fund has been established.
