DuWayne O. “Dewey” Storla, 83, of Dubuque, Iowa, formerly of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Hawkeye Care Center in Dubuque. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cuba City, Wisconsin. A prayer service will follow at noon.

Dewey was born on June 29, 1941, in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Ove and Mildred (Johnson) Storla. He graduated from Senior High School in Dubuque. Dewey worked for CB & C Equipment in Cuba City until his retirement.

Dewey enjoyed fishing, playing cards and gambling at the casino. Most especially he enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

Survivors include his significant other, Flora Wang; his children, Kevin (Kathy) Storla, Marion, IA, Lisa (Mark) Henik, Mt. Vernon, IA, Carey Storla, Cedar Rapids, IA; a son-in-law, Dave Spaur, Galena, IL; a brother, Curtis (DeeDee) Storla, Harpers Ferry, IA; seven grandchildren, Josh (Ashley) Storla, Jeanne (Nic) Jaeger, Clint (Angela) Henik, Cody (Dianna) Henik, Kyle (Madison) Henik, Colton (Alyssa Gorkow) Storla and Chelsea (Andrew Bahr) Storla; and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol Storla.
