Dolores D. Watson

Dolores D. Watson, 50, of Mineral Point, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at her mother's home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2010, at the Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Pastor Rodney Johnson officiating. Friends may call Thursday at the funeral home from 9-11 a.m. Burial will be in the Shawnee Cemetery, New Diggings, Wisconsin. Dolores was born on October 25, 1959, the daughter of Ray Banister and Patricia Ruehle. Her life ended a few months after being diagnosed with cancer. She was a very brave and strong person all the way to the end. Dolores was a very caring person who worked as a CNA taking care of many people. She would give the shirt off her back to help someone out. She loved being around her grandchildren and family. Dolores would spend a lot of time playing Yatzee and playing cards at her mom’s house. Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Jones (Jeremy Hinderman, fiance’), of Hazel Green; a son, Donald Banister (Autumn) of Mineral Point; her special friend, Doug Martin, of Mineral Point; her mother, Patricia Ruehle, of Benton; her father, Ray (Kathleen) Banister, of Roselle, Illinois; three sisters, Lisa (Patrick) Burchfield, of Shullsburg, Linda Homer (Ron Reed) and Ginnie (Mike) Gushulak, both of Hazel Green; a brother, Len (Patty) Banister, of New Diggings; two grandchildren, Dominick Weber and Daymein Banister; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Banister; and her grandparents, Anna Wojton, and Elizabeth and Clarence Banister.
