Cara Beth Cook, 59, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 – 4:00 pm, Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Stagecoach Trail Event Center, Apple River, Illinois. Burial will be at White Oak Springs Cemetery, Shullsburg, Wisconsin after the celebration. Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is assisting the family.
Cara Beth was born on February 10, 1967, in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Sr. and Sharon (Sincox) Cook. She graduated from Shullsburg High School in 1985 and earned her cosmetology certification from Capri College. Cara Beth worked as a CNA for several years before working for the United States Postal Service for 19 years. Cara Beth loved riding horses with her children, baking and time with her “fur babies”. She enjoyed time spent outdoors including walking, gardening, camping and bonfires. Cara Beth cherished time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed telling stories, good conversations and had a contagious laugh. Cara Beth will be remembered by her family and friends as kind, loving and caring.
Survivors include her daughters, Carissa (Shane) Kieler, Lancaster, WI and Krystina Kisting, Dubuque, IA; her life partner and father of her children, Kevin Kisting; five siblings, Kathleen McPherson, West St. Paul, MN, Robert Cook, Jr., Kingdom City, MO, Justin (Brenda) Cook, Shullsburg, WI, Nathan (Christa) Cook, Apple River, IL, and Caleb (Shawna) Cook, Warren, IL; seven grandchildren, Greysen, Sawyer and Eagan Kieler, Sophia, Alivia and Anthony Johnson, and Ruby Rau; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Christopher Cook; and a sister-in-law, Teresa Cook.
