James Charles Straka

Jim was born in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin on August 25, 1960, the son of Francis and Rita (Swatek) Straka. He married the former Rita Leifker on June 19, 1992. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and enjoyed the outdoors. Jim is survived by his wife, Rita; two daughters, Heather and April Straka, both at home; a son, Scot Leifker, of Platteville, Wisconsin; a brother, Gerald Straka, of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin; three sisters, Debra (Paul) Frank, of Loveland, Colorado, Donna (Dan) Atkinson, and Karla (Steve) Dawe, both of Dubuque, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents.
